There's planning in for a bike park in Aberfoyle, only saw anything about this today. It looks like a small area, with some offroad trails suitable for kids to use, it's located near the 30 signs on the way into Aberfoyle.

This would make a great place locally to teach kids some bike skills in a safe environment, would be good if we could get some support for it. It's not a big facility & it'll not be bothering anybody as far as I can see, but you never know. If it goes ahead, I'd be open to doing some kids skills coaching sessions there, I'm a British Cycling qualified coach, but we've got a baby due any time now, so not sure yet what I can commit to regularly. If there's anybody locally willing to go through the course, local bike club Vortex Rt can probably help out. Speak to me if you're interested, it is a commitment, but could lead to the beginnings a local kids bike club, the Stirling one is massively oversubscribed.
